Game Gear games included in the collection are: Play through wild spin-off titles like Triple Trouble and Mean Bean Machine, all exclusive to the console! Sonic Origins Plus newly adds 12 classic Sonic games from the Game Gear handheld over to modern platforms. Sonic Origins Plus will also be adding new routes to Sonic CD that are only accessible when playing as him. Knuckles was also revealed to be an additional playable character in Sonic CD, briefly showing him zipping through Tidal Tempest and Quartz Quadrant in the trailer. The trailer shows her in action, twirling a hammer whenever she performs a spin jump, though the game seemingly does not pull from her movement capabilities seen in the later Sonic Advance series. The enhanced collection newly adds Amy Rose as a playable character in the three mainline games and Sonic CD.
